This is an information screen that
is only available on the rear LCD
screen and it can be seen in
Figure 6-8.
This screen is kind of a
throwback to the old days (before
Live View) when you’d compose
your image using the Optical

What it Does Provides a GREAT visual Manual Focusing aid – things that are
sharp will be highlighted in the color of your choice.
Recommended Setting Peaking Level: Mid / Peaking Color: Yellow
Cameras have been getting more difficult to focus manually ever since
manufacturers stopped using ground glass focusing screens in the late
1970’s. Now with this new “Peaking Level” it’s actually easier to attain
critical focus manually than it was in the old days!
