      PGM-FI SYSTEM
                      3. Fuel Injector Resistance Inspection
                         Turn the ignition switch OFF.
                         Measure the resistance at the injector side 2P          [1]
                         connector [1].
                         Standard: 11 – 13 Ω (20°C/68°F)
                         Is the resistance within standard value?
                         YES  – GO TO STEP 4.
                         NO   – Faulty fuel injector








                      4. Fuel Injector Signal Line Open Circuit Inspection
                         Disconnect the  ECM/PCM 33P (Black)  connector
                         (page 4-39).                                                                     [2]
                         Check for continuity between the wire harness side
                         2P connector [1] and 33P (Black) connector [2].
                         TOOL:                                                                No.1: B3
                         Test probe            07ZAJ-RDJA110
                                                                           No.1: P/Bl
                         Connection:
                          No.1: Pink/black – B3
                          No.2: Pink/blue – B4
                                                                           No.2: P/Bu       No.2: B4
                         Is there continuity?
                         YES  – GO TO STEP 5.
                         NO   –  • Open circuit in the Pink/black wire  [1]
                                 • Open circuit in the Pink/blue wire
                      5. Fuel Injector Signal Line Short Circuit Inspection
                         Check for continuity between the wire harness side
                         2P connector [1] and ground.                              [1]
                         Connection:
                          No.1: Pink/black – Ground
                          No.2: Pink/blue – Ground
                         Is there continuity?
                                                                                          No.1: P/Bl
                         YES  –  • Short circuit in the Pink/black wire                   No.2: P/Bu
                                 • Short circuit in the Pink/blue wire
                         NO   – Replace the ECM/PCM with a known good
                                one (page 4-39) and recheck.
