CYLINDER HEAD/VALVE/CAMSHAFT
Temporarily install a 6 mm bolt [1].

Remove the rocker arm shaft [2] by pulling it.
Remove the rocker arms A [3] and B [4].
Remove the 6 mm bolt.

INSPECTION

Inspect the following parts for damage, abnormal wear,
deformation, burning.
– Rocker arm
– Rocker arm shaft
Measure each part according to CYLINDER HEAD/
VALVE/CAMSHAFT SPECIFICATIONS (page 1-7).
Replace any part if it is out of the service limit.

INSTALLATION

Turn the crankshaft counterclockwise and align the "T1"
mark [1] on the flywheel with the index mark [2] of the [4]
alternator cover.
Make sure that the index lines [3] on the cam sprocket
align with the upper surface of the cylinder head and
the punch mark [4] on the sprocket is visible.

The rocker arms have the following identification marks:
– "A" mark: rocker arm A [1]
– "B" mark: rocker arm B [2]
