CYLINDER HEAD/VALVE/CAMSHAFT
Apply molybdenum oil solution to the rocker arm sliding
area and thrust surface. [2] [4]
Apply molybdenum oil solution to the rocker arm shaft
outer surface.
Temporarily install a 6 mm bolt [1].
Install the rocker arms A [2] and B [3].
Install the rocker arm shaft [4].

• Install the rocker arm shaft by aligning its grooves
with the bolt holes of the cylinder head.
Apply engine oil to the rocker arm shaft bolt threads and
seating surface. [3] [1]
Install and tighten the shaft bolts [5] to the specified
torque.
TORQUE:12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 9 lbf·ft)
Remove the 6 mm bolt.
Install the stopper bolt [6] and a new sealing washer [7]
and tighten the bolt to the specified torque. [6]/[7]
TORQUE:18 N·m (1.8 kgf·m, 13 lbf·ft)
Install the cylinder head cover (page 10-5).

CAM CHAIN TENSIONER LIFTER

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Remove the cam chain tensioner lifter plug [1] and
sealing washer [2]. [1]/[2]

Turn the cam chain tensioner lifter shaft fully in
(clockwise) and secure it using the special tool. [1] [3] [2]
TOOL:
Tensioner holder B [1] 070MG-0010100

Remove the cam chain tensioner lifter mounting bolts
[2].
Remove the cam chain tensioner lifter [3] and gasket
[4].
