MAIN SEAT

MAIN SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Unlock the main seat [1] using the ignition key [2].

Remove the seat while pulling it forward and upward.

Install the seat while aligning its hook [3] with the
retainer on the rear carrier.
Push the seat downward, and lock it.

SEAT CATCH STAY REMOVAL/
INSTALLATION
Remove the tank rear cover (page 2-10).

Remove the bolts [1] and pull up the seat catch stay [2].
Disconnect the seat lock cable [3] from the stay.
Remove the bolt [4] and seat catch hook [5].
Installation is in the reverse order of removal. [1]

• Apply grease to the seat catch hook sliding area.
• Align the seat catch hook boss with the stay hole.

SEAT LOCK CYLINDER REMOVAL/
INSTALLATION
Remove the ETC tray (page 2-11).

Disconnect the seat lock cable [1] from the seat lock
cylinder [2] and stay [3].
Remove the lock spring [4], cylinder, and stay.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

• Align the lug [5] of the cylinder with the grooves [6]
of the rear fender B, lock spring, and stay.
