Figure 5-5: Above is an outdoor panorama that had a slight moving subject. See the
guy with two faces? These are the problems that occur when things move along the
stitching boundaries. The camera does its best to eliminate those artifacts but
sometimes it’s just not possible. The bottom shows a very extreme example of this kind
of artifact. Don’t let this happen to you! Try to use still subjects during panoramas.
There are a lot of things to note while shooing panoramas:
If you are shooting in RAW or RAW+JPG mode, the camera will
switch to .jpg automatically and then switch back to whatever you had
set when you exit Panorama mode.
