5.5 (MOVIE) FILE FORMAT

Menu Position MENU  2  File Format

What it Does Lets you specify the video format – AVCHD, or .MP4

Recommended Setting If you’re not sure, and you’re just shooting home
movies, I’d recommend .MP4 since it’s the easiest for most computers /
programs to work with.

The video file formats and their tradeoffs are discussed pretty thoroughly in
the chapter about Movie Mode, Section 11.2

5.6 (MOVIE) RECORD SETTING

Menu Position MENU  2  Record Setting

What it Does Lets you specify frame rate for the video specified in MENU
 2  File Format

Recommended Setting “It all depends”
