FUEL SYSTEM
Measure the resistance at the 2P connector [1] of the
PAIR control solenoid valve. [1]

STANDARD: 24 – 28 Ω (20°C/68°F)
If the resistance is out of the specification, replace the
PAIR control solenoid valve.

PAIR REED VALVE REMOVAL/
INSTALLATION
Remove the cylinder head cover (page 10-4).
Remove the bolts [1].

Remove the PAIR reed valve cover [1]

• When installing the cover, align the boss of the
cover with the hole of the reed valve.

Align

Remove the PAIR reed valves [1] and port plates [2].

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

• Install the reed valves and port plates as shown.

TORQUE:
PAIR reed valve cover bolt:
12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 9 lbf·ft)
