Connect X3 to your phone via the Insta360 app to preview your shot, control shooting,
playback footage, and more.
Steps
1. Turn on WiFi and bluetooth on your phone.
2. Turn on X3.
3. Open the Insta360 app and tap the yellow camera icon at the bottom of the page.
4. Here you should see your camera listed. The name of your camera is "X3 ******" by
default, where ****** is the last six digits of the serial number on the box your X3
came in.
5. If connecting for the first time, a prompt will appear on the app and you will need to
confirm the connection on the camera’s touch screen.
6. If the above does not work, go to the phone's WiFi settings and search for your X3.
Tap to connect, then return to the app.
After connection, you will be able to access the following functions:
• WiFi preview
• Remote shooting
• Playback, download & export footage
Note: The effective distance of camera WiFi transmission (without interference and no
obstruction) is 10 meters. The effective transmission distance will vary according to different
