           same  way),  those  outermost  AF  points  can  be  useful  when  tracking  a
           subject as it goes across the screen.  That’s why I keep this set to AUTO
           and shun the reduced AF point set.


            TIP: Don’t forget, the center of the joystick is configured at the factory to be a
            quick “Spot Focus and Lock” – it will override Wide Area AF and AF-C in an
            instant for as long as you hold that button in.

           Spot focusing is a great tool.  So is the fact that the A77 II has 79 AF points
           to do it with.  But someone, somewhere will probably say, “It takes me too
           long to move my spot focus point across the screen!”.
           If that person is you, Sony has the Flexible Spot Points feature.  It limits the
           number  of  Spot  Focus  points  to  just  15,  spread  pretty  evenly  across  the
           screen.
