Remove the wire band [1].

Remove the bolt [2].
Release the wire clips [3] from the stay [4].

Release the following:

– Handlebar switch wire clips [1]
– Front brake hose A [2]
– Throttle cables [3]
– Clutch cable [4] (CRF1000/A)
– Parking brake cable [4] (CRF1000D)

Remove the steering stem nut [1].
[1]
Remove the forks (page 17-14).
Remove the top bridge [2].

Remove the bolt [1] and brake hose clamp [2].
