CLUTCH/GEARSHIFT LINKAGE (CRF1000/A)
Remove the following:
[4] [1]
– Dowel pin [1]
– Shift drum stopper arm pivot bolt [2]
– Shift drum stopper arm [3]
– Return spring [4]
–Washer [5]

[2]/[5]
[3]

Remove the oil seal [1].
[1]

INSPECTION
Inspect the following parts for damage, abnormal wear
and deformation. Replace if necessary.
– Shift drum center
– Shift drum stopper arm
– Return spring
– Gearshift spindle

INSTALLATION

Install a new oil seal [1] until it is fully seated and apply
grease to the oil seal lips. [1]
