CLUTCH/GEARSHIFT LINKAGE (CRF1000/A)
Line up the primary drive gear and sub gear teeth by
inserting a suitable pin [1] into the holes of gears. [2]
Hold the primary drive gear and sub-gear with a 6 mm
bolt [2].

Remove the washer [1] and clutch outer [2].

Remove the washer [1] and clutch outer guide [2].
[1]

INSPECTION

Check the following of the clutch pressure plate [1] for
scratch, damage, abnormal wear and deformation. [3]
– Cam areas [2]
–Grooves
– Disc sliding surface
– Bearing [3]

Replace the clutch pressure plate if necessary.
For bearing replacement (page 12-11)
